Objectives: The COVID-19 pandemic wreaked havoc on teaching interventions all across the world. The current study aims to investigate Saudi Arabian medical student perceptions on the role of online teaching in facilitating medical education during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Design: This research follows the cross-sectional, online national survey design
Participants: Medical students across all years from Saudi Arabian medical schools in Riyadh.

Conclusion: To conclude, the present study that more than half of the studied subjects had a positive attitude toward the benefits of E-learning, while more than one-third of them had a negative attitude. A half of studied students at Saudi Arabian medical schools in Riyadh. had a low problem, less than one third had a moderate problem while, only one-fifth of them had a thigh problem during E-learning caused by weak internet connection, unsuitable place of studying online characterized by crowded home as well as lack of face-to-face communication.World Health Organization (WHO) classified the COVID-19 illness a worldwide pandemic in March 2020, putting public health at risk. This came when COVID-19 was classified as a new epidemic of coronavirus illness in January 2020.
